Happy Friday! Today we have yet another YesStyle haul, which arrived a week ago. This is an order I didn’t expect to place for another month or so, but I was looking to get a backup of a product I really love. You may recognise it, but I’ll talk about it in more detail shortly.
So like always, I aimed to fulfill the £30.00 minimum spend for free premium shipping, and this order cost a total of £34.60. This total is a combination of my silver membership discount and one of my coupons for $5.00 off my order.
I placed my order back around the 21st of August, and it shipped 2 days later. From the shipping date, it took around 2 weeks to arrive, which is the latter end of the shipping period for the UK. So this is the longest it’s taken for a package to arrive to me, but ultimately I’m fine with this.
The package itself arrived in bubble wrap, which was easy to unpack, thanks to the assistance of a pair of scissors. The products inside were undamaged, although the boxes were a little bit crushed. This seems to be a common experience for me, but I don’t mind as the packaging itself isn’t harmed.
I hope that YesStyle will consider moving away from plastic packing materials, as it’s really tricky to recycle here in the UK. This does vary from county to county, but my home town is especially limited for what they’re prepared to recycle. When I lived in Bristol I was able to recycle bubble wrap.
Starting with makeup products, I decided to splurge a little bit and picked out the Heimish Dailism Eye Palette in ‘Brick Brown‘. I’ve heard really good things about the quality of the eyeshadows, and have been really curious to try them out.
I picked up the ‘Brick Brown‘ palette specifically as of the palettes from the line, it seemed like the one that would fit my tastes the best. There’s a pink toned and a peachy toned version of this palette, which look gorgeous, but they’re outside of my comfort zone.
The brown tones in this palette are more on the warmer side than I usually reach for, but I can see myself grabbing for this a lot, whereas I’d be too intimidated by the other palettes. I still have them wishlisted on my YesStyle account, but for now I’m content to try out this palette and see if they’re ones I’ll purchase down the line.
In spite of how many lip products I have in my collection at the moment, I couldn’t resist the Nakeup Face C-Cup Lip Tox-Tick Lipstick, which I picked up in the shade ‘#05 Stalker‘. The name is a little bit strange to me, but I’ve been really eager to try a variety of lip products from Korean brands.
The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, and the shade itself looks like a very approachable rosey-pink, which is right up my alley. I probably have shades in my collection very similar to it, but it felt like an appropriate colour to pick for trying a new brand.
Finally, the product this order is motivated by, is the Purito Centella Green Level Eye Cream. This is my current day time eye cream, and one I’ve reviewed already. I absolutely adore this eye cream, and have hit about halfway through the tube very unexpectedly. So I wanted to get a backup of this just in case I make another jump through the tube.
Now that autumn is rolling in, I’m curious to see how this eye cream handles against the cooler weather. But even if it doesn’t, I know I’ll go back to this in spring and summer. So I wanted to make sure I had another tube on standby.
This is a much smaller haul, but it’s one I feel quite excited about. It’s fun to try new products, but I’m especially excited about having a backup of a product I really love.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post, it means a lot to me to receive your support. I hope you are happy and healthy, and I’ll speak to you again soon.
