So I started this Sample Stash series a few months ago, but it quickly fell out of the loop of things, since life got – and has continued to be – quite hectic. But, I’m going to carry on this series of posts, and I’m kicking things off with a few more products I’ve received samples for, either from magazines, box sets when I’ve spent enough at my local drug store, or were included with online purchases I made.
The first group of products are by the brand Aromatherapy Associates, which I received with a magazine a while ago. It included three products from their hydrating line: the Renewing Rose Cleanser, Rose Face Mask and Triple Rose Renewing Moisturiser. Of the three, I’m very curious to to try the face mask, and I’m considering taking this over to my partner’s place to keep there, since it’s such a tiny tube and something I can use up before we move in together in a few months time. I’m curious how the cleanser will work with my skin and honestly, that’ll probably go over there too. As for the moisturiser, I’m probably going to stash it away a little while longer, since I already have an open moisturiser at my partner’s place which I’m testing out, and I won’t be replacing my regular moisturiser I use at home for a while. Of course, as and when I try these out, I will review them.
The next product is the Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum. Months back a lot of bloggers and YouTubers were talking about this product and when I received this in a magazine, I was curious if I would like it, but I have yet to use it. I’m currently cycling through serums at the moment, but I think when a spot in my skincare routine comes up for a new serum, this one will be pushed to the front so I can finally give this a try.
Moving on, I have the No.7 Protect and Perfect Intense Day Cream, which honestly, I’m considering passing on to my Mum. I personally prefer to separate my moisturiser from my sunscreen, and since I can’t guarantee I’ll use them up at the same time, this will just sit waiting for a chance that I might need to mix those two elements of my routine together.
Finally, there is the only hair product in my entire sample stash, which the Bumble and Bumble Bb. Texture Hair (Un)dressing Creme. Not sure if I will use this, so I’m gonna do some research on it and see if I think this might work well with my hair. I have normal hair, but my scalp (and skin generally) has a tendency to be sensitive to some cosmetic products.
If you have any experiences with any of these products, or you’re particularly curious about some of them, leave a comment below to share with me which ones have taken your interest. I would love to hear your opinions.
