Sample Stash: #5

Okay, so I’ll be the first to admit I took too long of a break to write another post for this series. As far as I’m aware, this is the last post for my Sample Stash series, and I will be rounding up with the last of my Korean skincare samples.

To kick things off, I have two Liole samples, which are the V-Line Waterdrop Sleeping Pack, and the Triple Solution BB Cream. If I’m completely honest, I know for a fact that the BB Cream sample is not going to match me: it’s in the shade #3, and with my pale skin I know I’ll be passing this on to my mum just in case it might match her. As for the sleeping pack, I’m curious if this will work with my skin, and I will write a first impression on this when I try it.

Next, is the COSRX Natural BHA Skin Returning Emulsion sample, which I am extremely curious to test on my skin. This brand has really caught my interest lately, and I’m currently using the AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner in my skincare routine, so I look forward to trying more products from this brand.

I have two Holika Holika samples, which are from the Black Snail line, including the Repair Emulsion and Repair Toner. I got these while I was in Canada, after buying some products from a mall in Toronto which has a lot of Korean skincare and makeup brands. I was in heaven, although my boyfriend wasn’t so much. I’m waiting for a good time to integrate these into my skincare routine and I’m especially looking forward to reviewing them, since there is enough product to trial these for a week or two.

Moving on, I also have a small Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum sample, which I’m curious to see if it works well with my skin. I’ve heard some good things about this serum, so I hope to write a first impressions on this reasonably soon.

I have two Missha samples as well, which I think (they don’t make it obvious on the sample itself, are the “MISA Geum Sul Vitalising Eye Cream” (sourced the name from here) which is on the left, and then the “MISA Geum Sul First Essence Booster” (sourced the name from here) which is on the right. If I have mistaken them for similar looking products from their line, I would be so happy if you corrected me. I haven’t started learning Korean yet, so I may have made a simple mistake trying to match the sample to the product.

Finally, I have some Skinfood samples, which are the Blanc Pearl Caviar Emulsion and the Broccoli Toner. I’m curious about how broccoli will work for helping the skin, so this is something that really raised my eyebrow when I found this little sample in a box from an eBay purchase I made a while ago. As for the emulsion, I’m reasonably new to actually using emulsions in my skincare routine, but I’ve heard a lot about them and then done some research of my own about them.

These are the last of my skincare samples. I was going to write a makeup sample version of them, but they are long lost in my stash and I can’t confidently find them all to write a post or series of posts about them. I also don’t get makeup samples as often as I do skincare ones, so I think I will just talk about the random ones I have on an individual basis as I get to them.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post, it truly means the world to me. If you want to catch up with me on social media, I strongly encourage you to follow me on Twitter, as I check on it frequently throughout my day. Otherwise, I will be checking my blog feeds more often and will attempt to reach out and comment more often in future. I hope you have a wonderful day, and I wish you good health and happiness.
