Sample Stash: #3

So this is the last batch of branded skincare samples that I can find here in the UK, and after this it’s going to be Korean brands all the way. Let’s jump into it so I can show and talk about the products.

Sample Stash #3 No.1

The first two samples are by two higher end brands that normally I won’t even look at when I shop, since they’re outside of my budget. These are the Philosophy Purity 3-in-1 Cleanser, and the Yves Saint Laurent Forever Youth Liberator Serum. I’m quite curious about the serum since they’ve been a skin care obsession of mine for a long time now. The cleanser I’m not so intrigued by, but I will definitely try it and write a first impressions post on it.

Moving on, these are a bunch of samples I had plans for back when I first obtained them but didn’t manage to organise to use. These are all from the brand Ioma, and an assistant at the Boots store in Cardiff’s city centre gave them to me after trying to sell the brand and the Clarisonic Mia facial cleansing device to me. I actually own one, but it was a Christmas gift rather than a purchase from that visit. I initially planned on using these as part of a week-long trial of each of these samples, but I was so over whelmed with university work that I couldn’t co-ordinate it. Since then they’ve been sat untouched in my samples box, so I’ve decided I’ll trial these one by one and write individual first impressions on them since it’ll give a fairer opinion on each one. These samples range from day and night creams, to serums and treatments for dark circles and excess sebum. There’s a huge range here so I think I want to trial them during times when they’ll actually be valued, rather than just mix them into my skin care routine randomly.

Finally, I saw an event of sorts on Facebook and via email a long, long time ago where you can sign up to collect Origins face mask samples. They actually ran out of one of the masks they were advertising to give out, so the sales assistant when I collected them in Cardiff (I actually picked them up on a trip back to Cardiff on a shopping day since you could only collect them from a store that stocks the brand) gave me a different mask instead. The ones I have here are the Out of Trouble mask and the Clear Improvement mask. I’m very curious about these masks and I definitely want to write separate first impressions on these masks.

These are all of the samples I want to share in this post, and the next one will go up this coming Sunday, so I hope you will check it out. Thank you for taking the time to read my post, it really does mean the world to me.
