We’re already more than halfway through November, and I need to show you guys what I decluttered last month for October. This is the skincare portion, so let’s just jump straight into it.
To kick things off, I have the Superdrug Simply Pure Oil Balancing Cleansing Gel, which as you probably guessed, is a cleanser. Typically, I really like gel-based cleansers for my oily-sensitive skin, but this particular one left my skin feeling like there was still a layer of the gel still on my skin, even after thorough cleansing off in the shower. It made my skin feel not-quite-right, so I decided that I’ll let Mum try it, and try a different one.
Next, is the Tri-Peptox Cleanse+ Purifying Face Scrub, which I wrote a First Impression about earlier this year. I’ll let you read the post instead of reiterating myself, but this isn’t something I’ve chosen to just use up.
Moving on to a face mask, this is the Quick Fix Facials Brightening Peel Mask. I know from previous experience that peel-off masks are not for my skin, and didn’t open this. I’d rather pass this on to my Mum, who enjoys these. My skin however, cries when I use them.
One serum I tried last month was the Eco Vitamin C Serum, which I found in TK Maxx. I decided to bust this out and try it since my skin was a bit dull last month, but found that one: the pipette was broken on the outside, although not completely unusable. And then two: the serum was a heavy oil that just didn’t feel quite right on my skin. Like most products, this is another I’m letting Mum try before it sees the bin.
Finally, we have two mask sachets. They are both Superdrug own-brand masks, the first being the Exfoliating Ice Blast Gel Mask, and the other the Energising Peel-Off Mask. The exfoliating mask I decided to just pass on because I like the exfoliators I’m already using, and the peel-off mask I probably don’t need to explain. Again, I want to let Mum try these as she might get a kick from them.
That’s all of the skincare stuff from October, I will post the makeup I’m passing on by the end of the week, and looking at my makeup bag I’m storing them in, there’s a lot to talk about. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post, it really means the world to me. Until next time, please take care.
