November Blogging Challenge: Days Seventeen, Eighteen and Nineteen

Day Seventeen

Theme: Someone you want to switch lives with for one day and why.

This is really tough one… Honestly, I can’t give a specific name, but I guess for a cultural comparison I would switch places with a high schooler in a country like Japan or South Korea to experience what school life was like there. One day isn’t enough to get a true experience, but it would be a taste. In anime, school life is presented as being very different from school life in the UK and I think it would be interesting to see what it’s like.

Day Eighteen

Theme: Plans/dreams/goals you have.

At the moment I’m developing my video editing skills so I can edit video game content for for  streaming and YouTube. I think it could become a potentially stable job while I develop other hobbies. The pipedream is to edit for The Yogscast who create and distribute video game content on YouTube, but emphasis on pipedream… I will try my best nonetheless. I actually wrote my dissertation using them as a case study, so yea… Hollypop is serious about this!

Which moves onto another goal of mine – I want to develop my own art style at some point and being to create art that inspires others, as well as making people feel. I really admire artists of many crafts who can do that. Right now, I have a very long way to go, but I’m determined to get there!

Day Nineteen

Theme: Nicknames you have; why do you have them.

Well, the first is Hollypop. As I’ve mentioned  before, it was given to me by my Mum, who thought it was a cute and fun nickname to give me. She also calls me her “pea of the sweet variety” or simply “Sweetpea”, although the longer version I prefer.

As far as other nicknames… I can’t think of any others specifically. I just know that some of the girls in my year/grade at school used to call me a vampire because I was/am very pale and at the time I looked very pasty rather porcelain. Honestly, it didn’t bother me, and one of my friends cheered me up once saying that really it’s a compliment because vampires are alluring and beautiful in order to lure their prey. I’m also told I’m quite kitten-like so it’s becoming a trend for me to wear cat ears when I livestream or just to be referred to as a neko (which is Japanese for cat).

That’s all three days caught up to… I seem to be falling into a bad habit right now. I should write my posts before I livestream or I may end up not doing it on the day it’s meant for! Oops! I will definitely try harder not to make this habit stick! But! You get three days in one so I guess that’s okay? Now I’m just making up nonsense to excuse myself, hehe…

Thank you for taking the time to read my post, it means the world to my little neko heart! I hope they were enjoyable to read and I promise I won’t let this happen again!
