Just to let you guys know…:

Good morning/day/evening/night to anyone who decides to read this. I normally don’t explain things going on about my blog since I don’t usually think you guys will notice, but since I’ve been on a roll recently with blog posts, I’m just keeping you up-to-date about a temporary absence on my behalf for the next week.

If anyone reading this is a final year student or has been, you’ll know that this time of the academic year is immensely stressful. If you don’t have early submission dates for your dissertation/thesis like some of my fellow students at my university, then like myself you’ll be facing the big hand-in very soon. For myself and my fellow English pathway students that is the Friday of next week (May 1st). So that means I’ve got a lot of work to do to make sure my dissertation – a personal project with which I have devoted a lot of time, and am extremely proud of – requires all of my time and attention until it is handed in.

It is for this reason alone that I plan on not writing any blog posts between now and next Friday. In the past month or so I managed to really get myself back to posting regularly, and I intend to post almost daily if I feel I have content I think you guys will appreciate. After next Friday, I will have only one other essay and an exam, so my time will be freed up so I can balance these alongside my devotion and attention to my blog.

I hope you’ll be able to understand why I’m taking this brief break, and if it’s not obvious, I am going to miss you all and posting content. However, during what little ‘me’ time I will allow myself, I will try and keep myself up-to-date with what you guys are posting and talking about.

Thank you guys for taking the time to read this post, and I apologise that it’s not the usual content I usually post. However, I do love you guys, and wanted to keep you ‘in-the-know’ so-to speak.
