As it’s now a brand new month, let’s kick things off with my goals for my second project pan of 2020. Don’t worry, no April’s Fools jokes here, all serious. This seriousness started with myself: where I took some time to really look through and assess the cosmetics I own, and see which ones I could realistically see myself finishing up.
There’s a lot of familiar products if you were following my last project pan that I rounded up yesterday. I really struggled with motivation in the latter half of my last project pan, so quite a few are being brought forward so let’s start with those:
Products Brought Forward:
Starting with body care, one that barely made it through the last one was The Body Shop Cactus Blossom Shower Gel. I’ve tipped it upside down to help it come out of the bottle more easily, and it’s just in the narrow part by the cap now. So it feels almost like cheating to include it, but I will be consistent. I have 0 worries about using this up within 3 months.
I also didn’t use up the Superdrug Oat & Coconut Intensive Hand Cream, mostly from being too lazy to moisturise my hands. This is my favourite hand cream at the moment, as it’s both nourishing for dryness and prevents eczema on my hands and wrists. If I can keep myself motivated and avoid being lazy again, I feel confident that I’ll use up this tube.
I struggled to get through the 2 sheet masks I had set aside. So I want to work to use them up again in this project pan. These are both from Tony Moly, and are the I’m Real Avocado Mask Sheet Nutrition and Pureness 100 Green Tea Mask Sheet Skin Soothing, respectively.
It is possible that the latter I may not have a skin moment to use it for, but I plan to take it as it comes. The former I’ll definitely be able to use so long as I motivate myself properly and organise the time to just sit down and wear one. Motivation is definitely my major obstacle at the moment, and it’s something I’m working to keep multiple aspects of my life in a healthy place right now.
The only makeup product I’m bringing forward is the Collection Primed & Ready Invisible Setting Powder, which I use at my mattifying powder throughout the day. The weather is warming up into spring here in the UK, so I’ll definitely have use for this on my oily skin. However, the major obstacle is whether I wear makeup frequently enough to make a proper dent.
Moving on to the products I’m bringing, let’s start with skincare. I haven’t reviewed this product yet, but I’m confident it won’t take me long to work through my bottle of the No7 Revitalising Micellar Cleansing Water. I will review this in the near future, so I won’t comment on performance here. I’m about halfway through the bottle though, so I feel pretty confident I can use it up.
I’m less confident about this one, but I want to see if I can use up the Superdrug Anti-Fatigue Refreshing Eye Gel, which is a roll-on product I keep in the drawer of my desk. I grab this on no-makeup days when my under-eyes need a touch up of hydration. I think my progress with this will depend strongly on whether I have many no-makeup days or not. As I don’t apply this over makeup.
I’m only including one hair care product, but it’s one I’ve been really loving. For the same reason as my shower gel, I’m photographing it upside down.
This is The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, and has been a really nice shampoo to work through my oily scalp. There’s less than a quarter of the bottle left, so I’m not worried at all about using this one up. I’ve considered reviewing it over the past few months, but I’m not sure how to review hair care products in a way that’s actually informative. If you’re a fellow blogger and would like to suggest some ideas, please feel free to suggest ideas with a comment!
I’m including 2 makeup products as well. The first being the No7 Stay Perfect Smoothing Eye Shadow, in the shade ‘Pretty Pink‘. This has been exclusively my eyeshadow primer/base for a long time, so I’m confident that I’ll either use it up entirely within 3 months, or it’ll just be time to move on because of the age of the product.
The K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 24h is in the same boat: it’s either going to be used up very soon, or it’s just time to move on, as I use it as my only brown eyeliner. I do still need to review this product, so like the micellar water I talked about earlier, I plan to review it very soon.
This concludes all of the products in my April to June 2020 project pan. Thank you for taking the time to read my goals, and I look forward to rounding them up in a few months. I hope you are healthy and safe, and I’ll speak to you again soon.
